About Font Leech
Font Leech is a collection of free typography tools for designers and developers. We believe that modern fonts deserve tools that expose all of their capabilities — variable axes, OpenType features, and creative effects — in one beautiful, free interface.
We built Font Leech because existing font tools only scratch the surface. They let you change size and weight, but they ignore stylistic sets, character variants, optical size axes, small capitals, and advanced numeric features. Font Leech makes all of these accessible with a single click.
How It Works
Choose a Font Tool
Browse our collection of font tools at /fonts and open the one you want. You'll see a live preview area and six control tabs: Style, Effects, Shadows, Background, OpenType, and Export.
Customize
Adjust weight, size, letter spacing, and more with continuous sliders. Toggle OpenType features, apply one-click effect presets, or add text shadows and background patterns.
Export
Copy production-ready CSS, HTML with inline styles, Tailwind classes, CSS variables, Google Fonts embed code, or download as a high-resolution PNG.
Font Licensing
All fonts on Font Leech are sourced from Google Fonts and distributed under their respective open licenses:

Font Leech does not host font files. All font previews are loaded directly from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com). We provide tools and a better user experience — not the fonts themselves.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the fonts really free?
Yes. All fonts available on Font Leech are open-licensed through Google Fonts. Inter uses the SIL Open Font License 1.1 and Roboto uses the Apache License 2.0 — both are completely free for personal and commercial use.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Every feature on Font Leech works without sign-up, login, or any account. No email gates, no paywalls.
Does Font Leech host font files?
No. We don't host any font files ourselves. Font previews are loaded directly from Google's CDN (fonts.googleapis.com). We are a tools and discovery platform, not a hosting service.
Which fonts are supported?
Currently we support Inter, Roboto, Montserrat, Poppins, Open Sans, Oswald, EB Garamond, Lato, Lobster, and Pacifico, with more fonts coming soon. Each font tool is built to expose all variable axes, OpenType features, and creative effects available for that font.
What are OpenType features?
OpenType features are built-in font capabilities like tabular numbers (tnum), slashed zero (zero), stylistic sets (ss01-ss08), character variants (cv01-cv13), small capitals, and more. Our tools let you toggle these with a single click.
How do I add a font to my website?
Use the Export tab in any font tool to copy the Google Fonts embed code, CSS import, Tailwind classes, or next/font snippet. Paste into your project and start using the font immediately.
What are Text Effect tools?
Text Effect tools let you create stunning visual text graphics — 3D bubble text, neon glow, graffiti, metallic effects, and more. They run in your browser using Canvas 2D rendering and you can download high-resolution PNG images for social media, YouTube thumbnails, and design projects.
