Our Korean Keyboard Online lets you type in Hangul directly from your browser with automatic syllable composition. Click consonants and vowels — they combine into Hangul syllable blocks automatically, just like typing on a real Korean keyboard. No installation or system settings needed.
14 basic consonants: ㄱ, ㄴ, ㄷ, ㄹ, ㅁ, ㅂ, ㅅ, ㅇ, ㅈ, ㅊ, ㅋ, ㅌ, ㅍ, ㅎ. Click a consonant to start building a syllable block.
10 basic vowels: ㅏ, ㅑ, ㅓ, ㅕ, ㅗ, ㅛ, ㅜ, ㅠ, ㅡ, ㅣ. After clicking a consonant, click a vowel to form a syllable (e.g. ㄱ + ㅏ = 가).
Hangul characters combine automatically: consonant + vowel = syllable (가), or consonant + vowel + consonant = complete block (한). The composition preview shows what you're building.
5 tense/double consonants: ㄲ, ㄸ, ㅃ, ㅆ, ㅉ. These represent stronger versions of their base consonants and are used in many common Korean words.
11 compound vowels formed from basic vowel combinations: ㅐ, ㅒ, ㅔ, ㅖ, ㅘ, ㅙ, ㅚ, ㅝ, ㅞ, ㅟ, ㅢ.
Quick-access buttons for frequently used Korean particles: 은/는, 이/가, 을/를, 에/에서, 으로. These attach to nouns to indicate grammatical function.
Start by clicking a consonant (e.g., ㅎ). The composition preview shows ㅎ.
Next, click a vowel (e.g., ㅏ). The consonant and vowel combine: ㅎ + ㅏ = 하. The preview updates.
Click another consonant (e.g., ㄴ). It becomes the final consonant: 하 + ㄴ = 한.
Click the next consonant to start a new syllable. If you click a vowel after a final consonant, the final consonant moves to become the initial consonant of the next syllable (automatic re-splitting).

Dubeolsik (두벌식) is the standard Korean keyboard layout. Consonants are on the left side, vowels on the right. It's the default on all Korean computers and phones.
Click consonant → vowel → (optional final consonant). They automatically combine into a syllable block. Example: ㅎ → ㅏ → ㄴ = 한.
The preview shows the syllable being built in real-time. Once you start a new syllable or press Space, the completed syllable is committed to the text area.
